The Seashell House in Mexico – A Work of Everlasting Beauty
The stunning beauty of an architectural masterpiece lies in the depths of Mexico. Designed by Javier Senosiain, the home is a place of pure solitude, built in smooth, peaceful manners to please the soul and beautify the mind.
Javier Senosiain is a famous Mexican architect and a master of the same mold as Frank Lloyd Wright. Senosiain is a key exponent and explorer of “organic architecture.” He is currently a professor of architecture at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
Made of concrete materials, chicken-wire and framed steel, the colorful mosaic designs encompasses the front, giving a light effect in the beauty of the rainbow. Though the house first appears much like a mud-house, it is in fact heavily constructed and can withstand an earthquake for an extended period of time.
Seeing the size of the home from the exterior, one might think that the space inside is cramped and informal. Once you step inside of the Seashell House, one realizes the magnitude of its beauty.
From the space behind the mosaic window to the beauty of the seating area, bedrooms, children’s room and unique staircase, The Seashell house is something one will never forget.
